Before the preseason match against the Mie Honda Heat on Saturday, November 11, we held the Osaka Prefecture High School Rugby Graduation Memorial Match and the Women’s Rugby Invitational Match.
Osaka Prefectural High School Rugby Graduation Match
The third-year students of the joint team of Nisshin, Kitano, and Minoh Gakuen were invited to participate in a graduation match. 20-minute halves were played, with the third-year students and first- and second-year students splitting up, and the final match was played at Hanazono.
Former Liners player Tatsuma Nando was invited as the referee. He blew the whistle on the Hanazono field, which he was familiar with.
Women’s Rugby Invitational Match
Invitational game was held for Iwami Chisuikan High School vs. Kanto Gakuin Rokura High School. Visitors to the Mie Honda Heat game were also invited to watch the match.
Also, after the game, the Liners 1st jerseys were presented to the Player of the Match from both schools.
